Job summary 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced ESG Advisory Manager to join our growing team. Working closely with the Global Head of ESG, you will be an indispensable part of our ESG advisory team, directly supporting clients on strategic projects as well as helping us grow the department and the business. This is a role for someone with a passion for sustainability and tech, who is ready to step up to drive client engagements and drive growth in advisory.  

Key responsibilities 

• Directly support clients in their ESG (reporting) journeys, including through materiality assessments, ESG strategy development, carbon footprint measurements, non-financial reporting (GRI, TCFD, SASB, ISSB, etc.) and alignment, etc.   
• Actively collaborate with the ESG team to refine our ESG Advisory strategy, including jointly developing and maturing new service lines and offerings in conjunction with our tech solutions.  
• Support new business development through proposal writing, creation of tailor-made offerings, and client presentations.  
• Facilitate training and workshops on ESG topics for clients and internal teams. 
• Stay abreast of global ESG trends, standards, and regulations, and integrate these insights into both client projects as well as expert advice to our internal teams. 
• Support our product team in ensuring our digital solutions are aligned with the latest ESG best-practices and respond to our client’s key ESG reporting & data management challenges.  

Qualifications 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, and climate consulting/advisory (internal or external).  
• Proven track record of project management and delivery in consulting engagements around sustainability and ESG. Experience in ESG reporting and ESG data management processes highly valued. 
• Undergraduate and Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, for example Economics, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Business, or a related field. 
• Understanding of key climate change, sustainability and ESG issues including regulatory developments, market best-practices, and business drivers.  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and evolving start-up environment. 
• Agile and hands-on personality ready to take responsibility with ambition to drive own projects and initiatives.  
• Fluent in English. Other languages valued.  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, desk research and report-writing skills.
