Richard Petty has been an independent director since September 2020. Dr. Petty has been a key adviser on significant projects and investments in Asia, working closely with several governments and the private sector. Richard has served on the faculty of several business schools. He remains active in academia as an academic board chair and visiting professor. Dr. Petty is a former member of the B20 and served on the B20 Finance and Infrastructure taskforce. He is a former Board Member of International Federation of Accountants, a former Chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong & Macau, and a former Chairman of CPA Australia. Richard has been author or co-author of many academic and professional works and has been awarded as a researcher, an editor of academic works, and as an educator. He has served on the editorial boards of several academic journals. Richard is Chairman of the Australian International School Hong Kong and senior adviser to several investment firms. He has served on the boards of other companies, both publicly listed and privately held. Richard holds several degrees including a PhD. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, CPA Australia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
