Diginex, the global blue chip provider of Blockchain solutions will host the Job Fair at Consensus in New York May 14-16. The event, aimed at providing an entry point for people interested in a career in the blockchain and DLT space, will run on Wednesday, May 16th between 2-5 pm.
The job fair, the first of its kind at the 4 year old Consensus conference, aims to provide information and advice for those seking to understand how to enter the blockchain industry. In the last 18 months, the blockchain and DLT industry has exploded into popular conciousness, with over $8 billion USD raised by ICO’s, and a total market cap that has increased by 500% over the same time.
The job fair will include a panel around the types of roles available in the industry, with speakers Jack Lee of HCM Capital (investment arm of Foxconn, maker of iPhones) Justin Newton, CEO of Netki, KYC provider for many financial service and blockchain firms, Oleg Ivanov, CEO of crypto fund CryptoBazar, Chance Barnett, Advisor on many ICO and blockchain projects and MC’ed by Liam Bussell, CMO and Head of ICO’s for Diginex. The panel will discuss the types of roles available and how new entrants can get their “foot in the door” in the blockchain space.
