The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Scientist to join our business and support our new Head of Climate in the development of our climate tech solutions offering. Companies of all sizes have pledged towards GHG emissions reduction for achievement of net zero targets. With our recently launched diginexClimate solution, our aim is to support companies of all sizes and asset managers by making carbon management easier, faster and more affordable.

 

Responsibilities

·       Collaborate on a day-to-day basis with Head of Climate and across business lines in implementation and development of climate tech solutions.

·       Manage ESG data structure for greenhouse gas accounting, identify public data and propose solutions for missing data sets.

·       Inform the development of product features / enhancement around climate, water, waste, energy.

·       Support advisory services by participating in client meetings, and preparation of technical proposals and project delivery as it relates to carbon accounting and life cycle assessments.

·       Respond to time critical questions from multiple business teams and work with product team on new feature creations .

 

 

Qualifications

·      Master’s degree or Phd in environmental sciences, engineering

·      Minimum of 5 years of experience working in private sector setting on carbon accounting, environmental assessment methodologies, benchmarking

·      Research and data modelling and analytics

·      Problem solver, with ability to manage complex datasets, identify patterns and synthesize large amounts of data to provide clear recommendations and insights.

·      Excellent project management skills and ability to work against tight deadlines

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·      Work in a remote setting, collaborate across teams and time zones.
