The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Sales to join our business to help create and implement an outbound sales strategy for the company.

Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, you will develop new strategies that will drive revenue growth. You will understand what goodB2B SaaS looks like and be able to use your expertise and experience to hit the ground running in a high paced environment.

 

Director of Outbound Sales Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of services and value proposition.
  • Start out as an individual contributor.
  • Find and generate prospects/leads.
  • Contact prospective customers by both telephone and email.
  • Use database, CRM, or other software to track progress with new prospects.
  • Manage sales process from start through close.
  • Report weekly sales goals and objectives to BU leaders.
  • When ready – build out and manage Outbound Sales Team.
  • Create plans and schedules to accomplish objectives.
  • Develop appropriate metrics and performance expectations.
  • Work closely with Head of Retention & Sales to maximise ARPU, LTV and minimise Churn.
  • Work closely with Head of Retention and Sales how to maintain contact with existing clients to make sure they are satisfied and request referrals.
  • Attend trainings to stay up to date with the specifications of new products and service offerings.

Director of Sales Qualifications

  • 6+ years B2B outbound sales experience required.
  • 3+ years working with B2B /SaaS solutions.
  • 3+ years working with early-stage products.
  • Fearless attitude and a hunter mentality
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills – presentations to external partners will be essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with a global team, across multiple time zones.
  • Able to evolve with a rapidly growing organisation and ability to thrive in unusual situations of change and ambiguity.
